No excuse for feeling sluggish in Austria, wake up and smell the coffee (Austrian
coffee is delicious, a great kick-start) and gulp in that fabulously fresh
mountain air, because your day’s itinerary is likely to be a full one.
With so much on offer, you’ll hardly know where to begin… but
the team at the Alpine Centre is always very happy to help organise your
stay.
The colourful holiday area of Zell am See caters for everyone, with a year-round
wide programme of activities and nightlife. The Alpine Centre is part of that
tradition.
Sporty types can test their skills on land, water or in the air taking
a bird’s eye view of the blindingly spectacular scenery. Opportunities
abound for all levels of ability and courage! Sightseeing can be energetic
too, with so many exciting things to see. For children, fun and discovery
go hand in hand with interactive theme parks, nature trails and amazing
natural wonders.
This part of Austria is not short on culture either, especially in Salzburg
with its strong classical music tradition, art and architecture. Thermal bathing
pools and spa centres are the perfect antidote for footsore tourists.
Nature’s abundance supplies a rich list of ingredients, much of it organic,
for Austria’s hearty cuisine, featuring many meat dishes and cheeses;
its national drinks include prized local beers, excellent wines and Schnapps.
Every day you can, of course, take advantage of the excellent leisure facilities
at the resort: a large and heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room,
table tennis and gym. You can book some off resort activities in advance,
taking advantage of specially negotiated discounts. Ski and board rental is
available on resort, as well as a ski school, and we can arrange your ski
passes. A shuttle service runs between the Alpine Centre and Zell am See.
